This is a vintage Fenton Art Glass “Vasa Murrhina” pink and green cased glass fan vase. It was produced from 1964 until 1967. Vasa Murrhina means, “vessel of gems”, and is made by pouring colored glass chips called frit into a ball of hot glass. Then another layer of crystal was layered over the frit. This type of glass was created long ago, but the process was lost, therefore, Frank Fenton had chemist Charles Goe develop a way to make it. (I got this information from Wikipedia.)
This piece is in very good, used condition. It is 7″ tall X 7″ wide.
