This is a pretty Sweeney McCluney & Company, “Scalloped Lines”, buttermilk goblet or open sugar. It was produced in 1871. I believe that this pattern is pretty rare. I cannot find any others like it.
This goblet is in very good, used condition. It does have what I believe is a straw mark in the base of the bowl. It may be a hair-line crack, but I don’t think so. You cannot feel any roughness along the line. I did take a photo, but could not get it to show up very well.
Take a look at the pictures, and if you have questions, please e-mail.
