Purinton / Esmond Pottery Apple-Pear Cookie Jar / Wooden Lid

Hi,

This is a nice pottery cookie jar.  It was manufactured by a company named Purinton Pottery for a distributor called Esmond. Apparently they manufactured pieces for several distributors. Purinton Pottery was in business for over a hundred years, from 1840 until 1959, when they finally closed

This piece is in good condition.  It has no chips or cracks. It does have some discoloration on the inside bottom.
