Green Smith Glass “Moon & Star” Candleholder / Compote

Hi,

This is a Smith Glass Co. green “Moon and Star” candle holder or compote.

Smith Glass marketed Moon & Star, beginning in the 1960’s, up until around 1990.  However, in all the years that they sold the pattern pieces, they never owned the mold.  They paid the owners, a company called Weishar, for each piece that was produced.
