Fenton Silver Crest Milk Glass Footed Banana Bowl / Compote

This is a beautiful Fenton Silver Crest Milk Glass footed Banana Compote. The Crest Line was produced by Fenton from the 1940’s through the 1980’s. First the Silver Crest, which is white milk glass with a clear band of glass around the outer edge of the ruffle. Then, after that came colors in the Crest. However, Silver Crest, is by far the most popular of all the crest colors. This piece does not have the “Fenton” maker’s mark, which indicates that it was manufactured before 1988.  It would have originally come with a “Fenton” sticker.
