EAPG King & Sons “Bleeding Heart” Buttermilk Goblet / Open Sugar / Rare Pattern

In stock

This is an 1875, King & Sons, “Bleeding Heart” pattern, buttermilk goblet. This pattern is rare.

All buttermilk goblets began as footed sugars, with a lid. As the lids were broken people re-purposed them as buttermilk goblets. Cornbread and buttermilk was once the rave, as a snack. My grandparents loved it.

I have two (2) of these goblets. They are both in excellent, used condition.  However, I will say, they look as if they were never used, at all.

Take a look at the pictures, and if you have questions, please e-mail. (I darkened the images so that you can see the detail. They are clear.)
