This is an EAPG (Early American Pattern Glass), McKee / Boston & Sandwich / Bellflower pattern oval bowl. It was manufactured from around 1840 up through the 1860’s. I believe this bowl may be one of a very few like this that still exists. I could not find any others like it.
This bowl is in very good condition. It shimmers in the light. It does have a piece of trash trapped inside the glass. This is due to the fact that the manufacturing process, at this time, was very crude. It was a common occurrence. It is 9″ long X 6-1/4″ wide.
