Description
This is a book written about one southern Cherokee family involved in the fight to keep the Cherokee from being driven from their native lands in North Carolina and Georgia. This book is made up mostly of letters written back and forth from several family members, including Confederate General Stand Watie. He was the last confederate general to surrender.
This book is in very good condition. It has its original book jacket. The only issue that I can see is that the pages have yellowed slightly, over time. The book also comes with an original advertising pamphlet for the book, mailed out by the University of Oklahoma Press, Norman, OK.
Take a look at the pictures, and if you have questions, please e-mail.
Thanks.
