This is an antique porcelain bowl manufactured in Vohenstraub, Germany. It was hand painted with pansies on the inside of the bowl, and was produced by a company operated by two brothers, Johann and Christian Seltmann. They opened the business in 1901. In 1909 Christian left the business, and Johann later trained his two sons to help in the business. He died in 1921, and the business was passed on to the sons, Robert and Christian. Business began to suffer, and the business merged with other companies and finally closed in 1995.
According to this mark this piece was manufactured between 1911 and 1932. It is in very good, but not perfect condition. Take a look at the pictures, and if you have questions, please e-mail.
