Description
Hi,
This is a pink Maple leaf footed cake plate produced by U.S. Glass Co. in 1930. This company was a conglomerate formed from the former Tiffin Glass, Beaty Glass, DunCan Glass, and others. They combined in 1891 to survive the harsh economy of the time. By 1930 the only one remaining of the original companies was Tiffin. It went on to be U.S. Glass Company until the 1960’s, when it closed.
This cake plate is in excellent condition, it has large maple leaves pressed into the top of the plate, along with circular rings of criss-cross lines. It is 12″ in diameter.
Take a look at the pictures, and if you have any questions, please e-mail.
Thanks.
